if the UK had a housing recession would happen to the US ecconomy?

uk recession

with the housing recession happening in the US and UK is starting to feel the pinch. If the UK had a recession the likes of 1992’s black wednesday when the pound fell out of the european exchange rate mechanism. Would a UK recession affect the US ecconomy do both ecconomies depend on each other.

It doesn’t much go the other way around. A UK recession probably wouldn’t affect the US at all, since the US doesn’t export much to the UK, and US investment companies are probably not much invested in UK securities.
